Minus all of the lives destroyed because of the extra violence and millions of people and their families caught up in the criminal justice system -- and the 10s of billions of $$$s spent each year on it -- LOL(!) the failed War on Drugs.
The guy is a legend with a ton of resources.
Mexican police are all shady fucks with no morals that can easily be bribed.
From the article:
So they have new guards watching over El Chapo?4:15 AM: A prison van was found abandoned only a mile away from the prison. Mexican officials believe the two guards, who began working at the prison just months ago, were actually members of the Sinaloa Cartel working for Guzmán.
No major outlets are reporting this yet. abcnews.com.co is not what anyone would call a reliable source. Not doubting it, but shade is shade.
Looks fake.
Especially since the guy who wrote that article also did this one...

Fake story SMH.
I despise these pieces of shit who do this for the lulz on twitter.
Now I'm looking at this more closely I'd say they tricked me too lol
That url is a hoax (http://abcnews.go.com/ is the real abc news) but when it comes to Mexican security anything is possible.
wow this has gotta be unprecedented.
They'll be talking about this for centuries and he has now surpassed Escobar as my most favourite drug lord.
And if anybody wants to some fast money then have 1000 El Chapo t-shirts printed up and knock them out in an areas full of beaners.
Looking at 5k profit within a week... easily

The timing of his deportation obviously means something. Can somebody explain the politics of why now?
Technically this is Obama's scoop, but he's already out the door and won't get the opportunity to bask in this.
So is it Mexico fucking with Trump in some way, or maybe a welcome to your new job gift from the Mexican president?
They started the extradition process a year ago and it took a year to go through the appeals courts and get the logistics together.

Mexico is going through a gasoline supply crisis which has prices for gas in mexico very high, and Mexicans are furious about it. Somebody I was reading said he thinks they did it right now to distract Mexicans from that, and get them talking about this.
Any chance hes ever free again? I'd have to think not, but he could cut a deal and spill the beans on so many corrupt politicians, and it feels like he coordinated his own capture. It was rumored that he was already working with the Mexican and US governments before his capture. If he isn't cutting a good deal, he would've been better off going out a hero in a blaze of glory like pablo did, instead of looking like a scared bitch. Right before his extradition, his lawyer was complaining that Guzman was being sexually harassed in prison lol.
