Tyde was a fixture in an odd corner of the poker boom. His place in history is assured. With time and a timeout he will be remembered more fondly. This ban just helps to maybe restore the image he was actively destroying.

Tyde once could fucking write and post. Others reposted bits of his old material. When I think of this "Ms Pacman" comes to mind first. A couple of quarters and he produced a masterpiece. Well, we have Mexico, $40 and so much other possibility. Nothing. Zip. Just embarrassing hate, sloth and personal attacks.

I always felt that if he could adopt self deprecation and humor, Tyde could write a degenerate chronical of the poker boom (you guys got the email that it's over, right?) that would be irresistable. Kid could get published.

Have you sent him the $40 and told him not to come back?
Is there a channel open to him to request his money?
Can he work his way back into acceptance here (i.e., probation)?
moving all the way to a permanent ban seems rash and I would think it would be better if a progressive series of restrictions had been tried first
but whatever you choose is okay with me
if the ban is permanent I would advise you pay him his $40 so he won't have that attention getter to include in his tales to the uninformed
