See, this is the thing that really bothered me when Todd said no more editing after 2 hours. I can completely understand the frustration on his end and the reason why he had to take action, and it would certainly be a little more hilarious when people like pockles can't edit his drunken rants anymore, but I can also think of a number of reasons including this instance (the OP) why people may legitimately want to edit their posts. Another reason would be if someone inadvertently posted sensitive info or what have you (I.E.: a picture and then the next day they realized that the data was not stripped). We aren't all completely internet savvy and quick enough to realize a mistake that needs to be fixed.
Again, I realize that it is somewhat a rock and a hard place, but why punish older upstanding members for the actions of one new user? Isn't there a better way to handle this?

Back in the NWP/DD days, I recall putting jewdonk into a custom usergroup that was not allowed to edit posts. Pretty simple workaround that allowed everyone to edit posts. Not sure if Todd would go this route, but that's one way of doing it.

Please re-send the $20 as "friends and family" or "personal payments".
Since I have figured out how to undo edits without taking up a lot of my time (which required a custom database modification, as there's no function in vBulletin to do this), I will change the edit time to 2 weeks, which should allow contests like these to have their main post edit.
