He was found dead in a hotel room and tweeted the follow below which sounds like it could be suicide. The past few years were rough ones for him health wise.

Daniel Bryan retires, from RAW in Seattle.
Daniel Bryan is great. Some complain since he's not that big but I look at it just the opposite showing someone with a lot of heart who is 5'8, 180 lbs can live their dream of being a professional wrestler. He's a genuinely nice guy and will be missed.

Sad news as announced from WWE earlier.. BlackJack Mulligan aka Robert Windham died today at his home at age 73. He was a mountain of a man at 6'9" and 360lbs. He was father to Barry Windham and Kendall Windham as well as Father in law to Mike Rotunda. Grandfather to current WWE wrestlers Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt (real last name Rotundo). I didn't think this really warranted its thread as most folks aren't WWE fans on here.
Sidenote he was involved in a concussion related lawsuit against the WWE in 2015, claiming injuries he suffered years ago caused dementia and blood clots in his brain.

Jerry The King Lawler and his 27 year old fiancee were arrested in a domestic violence case. He's been removed from doing any commentating by the WWE.

According to a police affidavit, the 66-year-old Lawler and the 27-year-old McBride were involved in a violent altercation at his home in East Memphis, Tenn., on Thursday night.
McBride alleges that she was struck in the head and pushed against a stove by Lawler, and that he placed an unloaded pistol on the kitchen counter and told her to kill herself.
Lawler alleges that McBride scratched his face, threw a candle at him, and kicked him in the groin. He also claims that McBride was intoxicated and was the one who brought the pistol into the kitchen.
