Question: is Peaky Blinders worth it? Im about 1/2 through the second episode. Just wondering if this is going to be worth my time.

Season one was OK but it went downhill from there.

    Downhill??

Fuck, i thought maybe it would go uphill by then. Its already downhill and uninteresting in the 3rd episode.

Im trying to figure out where all of the good ratings are coming from

    Wow 8.8 on imdb.com - I'd give it a 6.

The sets were piss poor and it was so unrealistic, but I guess many folks like that fantasy approach... I prefer a realistic gangster movie/series.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh, the acting was pretty good. I just zoned out when I saw things like the foundry they always walk past and the outside scenes around the pub, the fire looked terrible.

    Music was pretty good though.

Ya I like that show as well...I ended up using the English sound track for it and it made it worse than reading the subtitles..Marsellie was pretty good also, kept the French audio and read the subtitles (honestly can't remember if it even has an English track)

Currently watching Fauda and keeping the Hebrew audio because the English track is horrific

Peaky Blinders is well worth seeing out imo. The story lines progress nicely and you will enjoy.

Much of it was filmed in my city and the scenery was pretty decent imo.

Also don't take TV advice from an aussie. He'll have you watching Cell Block H and fucking Neighbours.

"Garbage" is a bit strong but it definitely wasn't good.

No fucking idea what that ending was about in the final feature length episode.
Just saw this and was glued, figuratively. Tough pace to keep up re: third seaason.
    Trump fucks pigs btw

Line of Duty is also absolutely superb. Police corruption based with lots of welcome twists.
Agree entirely with your British recommendations. The Night Manager is terrific. As for an American series, if you're into violence and scamming, Shut Eye is very good.

The People Vs. O.J. Simpson was solid. Sounds dumb, but I never knew much about the OJ trail (other than he obv did it and somehow got off) because it happened when I was a toddler

If my boy didn't drive your UBER that one time in Florida I would swear this is dupe writing. Who the fuck talks like that like ever? Your age range is pretty well established around here.

Ricky Gervais explains why he ditched theaters for Netflix to release his new movie

Yeah well, it's a steaming piece a crap innit?

Except for his podcast laugh, I fink ees pretty good.

David Brent: Life on the Road, however, was a joke, pun intended. Same character from the Office but cashing in wif nufing new and much borrowed, i.e. Spinal Tap.

Stephen Merchant no where in sight, wisely. So bad I had to watch it all

Queen of Versailles is pretty good and has some decent stuff on the PH Towers (time share/Westgate). A few years old but still not a bad, brainless docu watch.

Sorry about some of the series I mentioned, I get Netflix, Amazon, and my bittorrent downloads jumbled together.
