I've played poker several times a week with a black kid named James in Kansas for a few years. James is always well dressed, well spoken, super friendly, and tips the dealers extremely well. I mean everyone in the fucking poker room liked this kid. James would come in some times and buy $100 in the 1/3 game and move all in every hand for 30 minutes, lose 2 grand, make a joke and leave. We've always kind of joked that James must be a pot dealer but the reality of it is we really thought he was. It appears we made a bad read.

I'm pretty much floored. I mean he went through the kind of money you just don't come about at 25 years old legally, but like I said we assumed he sold weed or something. One guy in the game sold watches and they were always talking about what watch he was going to come in and buy next. The dealers are all heartbroken. He would win a big pot and sometimes chop it with them, dude didn't give a fuck.
