Well said that man. we have some great golden oldies, and his character was right up there with the best of them.
Still sometimes catch the old repeats on the sub ITV channels.
Amazing how many people have careers like this that i've never heard of. Even looking at his IMDB, I didn't see one thing I recognize that he would have ever done.. Return of The Saint is about as close as it got. The guy had done a lifetime of television before I was even born. Full life for sure.
