    PFA DFS Experiment

Some of you might remember Garrett placing top ten in a large field draftkings fantasy baseball contest a few weeks ago.. Well, it's time to run it back tonight.

We will have two entries exclusively generated by Garrett into the $250k Super Knuckeball ($100k to first) contest on Draftkings, the buy-in is $5. Should we win any money, Garrett gets 50% - I get 40% and the PFA WP gets 10% to be used for future gambling and similar contests.

Fantasy sports lineups are susceptible to a tremendous amount of variance, so I've committed to Garrett to enter ~ $100 worth of contests. Tonight is basically 1/10.

Once the contest is live in a couple mins, I will post the lineups.

    Here we go...

I can't speak for Garrett but his salary was only $2900 so guessing we're looking to get more value in other places and also kind of go against the grain, which is important in huge fields (I think)

The trick for large fields is go big or go home so you should find a team expected to hit big (normally whoever plays in Colorado, but check bookies lines) and pick as many in one team as you can i.e. all batters from 1-5

im still just nickel-and-diming for fun on statclash, so player values might be different, but i thought huge value in pitchers today:

    "gutz0r","Lance McCullers","P"
    "gutz0r","Mike Bolsinger","P"
    "gutz0r","Evan Gattis","C"
    "gutz0r","Adrian Gonzalez","1B"
    "gutz0r","Brian Dozier","2B"
    "gutz0r","Matt Carpenter","3B"
    "gutz0r","Jose Reyes","SS"
    "gutz0r","Jose Bautista","OF"
    "gutz0r","Giancarlo Stanton","OF"
    "gutz0r","Andrew McCutchen","OF"

This should be an interesting case study on how to flush $100 away quickly. Headshot, suggestion... put in 1 buyin to the lol GPP and 1 buyin to the largest 50/50 you find for that same buyin amount.

I am aware of the possibility that we could brick everything (especially in gpp format), even if they're good lineups. So while the $100 may or may not do much, the goal is to win a large number and make it rain on the WP. We're swinging for the fences here, kind of like that old saying "you can't get a hit if you don't get up to bat".

I do like the suggestion though, makes sense and probably a good idea to incorporate into the plan.
