*** OFFICIAL *** Yebsite vs. Dan Druff at limit holdem rail thread --- Sunday 5/13/2012 at 12:00pm PDT

The match will take place on Sunday, 5/13 at 12:00pm PDT.

It will be on the NoFraud Online Poker Room, at table "ESPN Seat Cover".

The game will be 20/40 limit holdem.

We will both buy in for 2000 chips, and neither of us will reload.

The first person to bust loses.

You can find the NoFraud Online Poker room by clicking on the "NoFraud Online Poker" tab near the top of the screen.

This will be a match for play money. However, Yebsite did send me $100 for the trouble of setting this up, and I am going to send him $200 (his $100 back plus another $100) as a gift for being able to beat me, if he manages to do so.

If you can't watch this live, don't worry about it! I will be recording the entire match (including my hole cards, and will be making commentary on my play) and that video will be availabe shortly thereafter in this thread.

I encourage everyone to go into our chat room during the match, so you can discuss what's happening as it occurs.

Okay, thanks to LLL and Tommy T who played a heads up match while I made some test commentating recordings, I got the whole video recording thing set up.

I am using the free CamStudio software.

Had to fix some LOL things, including the default that recorded it at the rate of about 300 MB per minute. Also, the audio was out of sync.

Tweaked a bunch of things and I made a good recording with good audio of the match, so now I'm ready for tomorrow (and future limit holdem tutorial videos).

Next up: Putting back the better chat room.

Managed to miss all the action - was down the pub.

Anyway - and only if you both agree - I can get the hand histories (including hole cards), if this helps with the post-match analysis.

Congrats to Yebsite.

No doubt he ran super hot, but he also made some smart moves, and his aggressive style worked well to take full advantage of the hands he was hitting. It's no trivial matter to win 100 big blinds.

I recorded the entire match, with commentary.

However, I played it back and found a major problem. The sound fell completely out of sync with the video. I believe the video was recording a bit slower than reality, while the sound was recording in real time.

Not sure how or why this happened, but it did. The sound ended about 30 minutes before the video, and it was completely out of sync with the hands after just a short time.

I will either need to wipe out the sound completely, or if someone is good at audio/video work, if they could speed up the video whatever percentage to match the length of the audio, I think everything would be in sync.

If you are good at doing the above, PM me and I will send you the file. It's a huge file at the moment -- 363 MB.

Otherwise, I will have to wipe out the sound and just upload the video on mute.
